Forte was engaged as the principle contractor to construct a new multi-storey, 14 bedroom residence for the Sisters of the Good Samaritan in Glebe, collaborating with Nix Anderson and Troppo Architects.

Forte maintains a strict focus on quality and safety for each and every project site we manage. A proven, audited HSEQ Management Plans underpin this focus and ensures that anyone connected with a Forte managed site can expect safe working conditions. Our client Sisters of the Good Samaritan entered a contract with us to construct manage their building operations based on our previously consistent experience of our exceptionally high standards of workmanship, and emphasis on innovation, sustainability, and safety. There is no substitute for confidence and peace of mind.

In this large-scale project, Forte is working as part of an extensive team, responsible for several key deliverables for the new site. The project consists of a three-level building including basement carpark, ground & first floor including dining room and prayer room. The structure includes cambered and canti-lever slabs, off-form concrete walls, structural steel, compressed fibre cement sheeting, glazing, timber truss roof and timber internal stairs.

The project is progressing steadily and is a great example of teamwork and collaboration, with an inspiring and unique space soon to be delivered to our client within a 52-week timeframe. Works are being strategically staged to ensure safe and adequate working conditions in the limited available space. Forte is focused on maximising the number of trades that can operate effectively in one area at any particular time. We ensure every contractor meets our rigorously high standards.
